Pros & Cons
The Arccos system analyzes and records every shot you hit and also provides the best strategies for every shot.
Yes they work and with great accuracy. This system comes with 14 sensor 1 for every club in your bag. The 5 yr battery life on them is amazing so you don’t have to worry about switching them often.
Learn with percision which golf club to utilize in every situation.
This system has over 40,000 courses recognized and growing. Plus you can submit a request to have a course recognized that is not available on the app.
iMPROVES YOUR GAME
Even a master at golf could improve from this unique technology. There are many angles and nuances most of us are not aware of when playing and this products helps to bring those to light. Where it really excels is in the approach shots with each club. Being able to overlay your shots on the same holes for all your historical rounds and seeing where you played different clubs is phenominal.
Great tracking with east to understand stats and hands down has one of the best GPS features including wind direction and speed just to name a few. I suggest learn the app functions and pair your sensors before hitting the course.
phone in front pocket
The Arccos Caddie system uses your phone to record data so it needs to be in your front pocket while playing. Sometimes it will miss your data and I think it is large in part to your clothing and your phone just malfunctioning. Plus if your like me I hate carrying anything in my pockets while golfing. The great thing is they have now made a caddie link that can be clipped to your belt or pocket that provides better accuracy and way more light weight.
Tracking putting data can be a pain as it doesn’t know where the flags are on the green. So it requires some editing at the end of the round.
When comparing the results and functionality on different phones this product seems best suitable for the iPhone 5s and higher. It does work on Android but the Android devices must be running marshmallow and above that include a gyroscope and accelerometer. One caveat is the iphone watch does not work well Arccos i wouldn’t suggest using it.
Sensors can come loose
As perfect as this product is and you’ll be hard pressed to find a comparison in today’s market it still has flaws. One drawback is the sensors seem to eventually work loose to the point you can lose one on a swing. Even if they don’t come loose you need to check the app after every round to make sure everything has been recorded efficiently if you want a perfect reading from your day of swinging.

What a fantastic product! If you are a novice Arccos Caddie in my eyes is must have. The insights and suggestions this systems gives is what professionals have paid big money to have over the years without technology. I found that even though I knew a thing or two about golfing this product helped me fill the holes where my arrogance and stubbornness left open. In the beginning I didn’t like that I had to carry my phone constantly or the thought of not being able to just set it and forget it really was a down side for me until I seen the results. I feel this product is best suited for novice-intermediates If you fall in this category you will get more use out of it for the investment, but don’t get high minded skilled golfers it’s not beyond the professionals. The company also has a great backing in technology with microsoft and they are constantly trying to improve and develop this product to be more user friendly and more accurate. For example, they have developed a product called the caddie link that allows you to clip it on to your belt/waist so now you don’t have to put a bulky phone in your pocket to catch readings. Sounds like they are listening to their customers to create a great user experience. The Arccos Caddie is a uniquely useful piece of technology and would make the perfect gift for any golfer. Oh Random Thought….. I wish they made a kids version because it would be a great way to engage them in golf while teaching using technology.
